As you can see, it has been currently eight years since her debut album. This hit album "Be Not Nobody" melted the hearts of true pop fans of the early 2000s. Her song A Thousand Miles was top in Australia and top five in the United States. Her aspiration for writing such a meaningful song came through when she decided to compose a song about her love for someone out of reach. She called the song "a combination of reality and fantasy. It's about a love that so consumes you that you do anything for it. That's how I felt at that time." Vanessa composed this song written for playing the piano, and was written in her own home in Philadelphia. This song has been so popular that it has been re-written and published by our own T.I. and heart melting David Archuleta. It was nominated for three Grammy awards in 2003. The reason behind this song hit me when i realized the lyrics and how it connected to so many people in the world.
